Watching the trailer to this was downright funny, the movie itself... Meh. It had its moments of comedy, for the most part it was filled with romance. Of course the movies falls under the genre of a romantic comedy, but this one took it a bit too far in the romance aspect.

Coming from the director of the hit movie Hitch, I was expecting ALOT more comedy than what was actually put into the movie. But it let down in that department and even as cute as a lovey dubby movie may be, it just did not pull me in as Hitch did.

An all too familiar tale in divorces, someone becomes consumed with their work, neglects the other, the other feels rejected, unwanted and it becomes hell. On the other hand, the other person sees the ignorance in one persons ways, sees the childishness, the foolish way of being and that determines why they leave.

In the end it just felt like they never were divorced, more so a normal separation which happens all too often with couples nowadays. So all in all, if you have been in a relationship before, a serious one, then you know the story all too well. Problem with that is, that this is supposed to take you away from that scenario and put you in a more comedic element, where you can laugh about certain things and see them a little lighter than they are. Instead of thinking about the person you just had those moments with.

The movie was not bad, but it wasn't as light as it should have been. For all you romance lovers, this is definitely a movie for you. Romantic comedy lovers, I do not believe you will be enticed by the comedy, but may be drawn to the romance.
